Lending Assistant Manager Community National Bank - 3.9 Midland, TX Job Details Full-time 3 days ago Qualifications Computer operation Phone communication Regulatory compliance Team management Task prioritization Productivity software Delegation Financial compliance experience in banks Customer complaint resolution Client interaction via phone calls Database software proficiency Full Job Description General Summary The Lending Assistant Manager supports lending operations by supervising staff, managing loan documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing high-level customer service to business clients. They act as a liaison between lenders and operations, managing workflow to improve efficiency, handle complex loan portfolios, and resolve complex issues to optimize borrower satisfaction and turnaround times. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for staying up to date on and complying with all applicable banking laws and regulations as well as CNB policies and procedures. Provide effective leadership to the Loan Assistants in all markets including adequate training of the various tasks and functions, mentorship by assisting with complex questions, workload distribution between associates, and ensure operational coverage. Serve as a central liaison among Loan Officers, Credit Analysts, loan operations, improving workflow efficiency and cross-functional collaboration. Manage client relationships by resolving complex inquiries, facilitating payments, and addressing disputes with professionalism and urgency. Maintain and audit credit files; review exceptions, past dues, adverse action packages, and non-post/insufficient fund items to support risk management and ensure compliance. Prepare and maintain compliance documentation for all loans. Analyze the team's performance metrics and implement strategies to increase efficiency. Process paid out loans, withdrawal, and denials. Pull credit reports, loan worksheets and check sheets. Assist in processing release of liens for real estate, consumer, commercial or oil & gas loans when needed. Prepare outgoing wire documents and cashier's checks as needed by customers. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Work cooperatively with others. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification. Skills and Abilities Required Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Strong understanding of loan documentation and compliance regulations. Ability to effectively and professionally communicate the loan process, and complex issues in a concise manner to customers and colleagues both in person and on the phone. Ability to adapt to technological changes and apply new knowledge to responsibilities. Ability to prioritize assignments and delegate responsibilities. Ability to move large sums of money with accuracy and confidence. Exceptional attention to detail and a conscientious proactive approach to delivering high quality results in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office and database software. Certifications/Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or 10+ years previous experience as a Loan Assistant. Previous supervisory experience. Thorough understanding of all legal documentation and loan processes. Working Conditions Indoor, in an office environment, with a typical 40-hour work week. Considerable effort and eyestrain from continuous computer use. Physical Requirements Occasionally move office equipment, and files weighing 10+ pounds. Constantly operates a computer, a calculator, copy machine, printer, and other office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time to process work.
