In this role, you will help ensure the smooth, timely, and accurate completion of real estate transactions. This position involves working closely with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders, handling essential documentation and financial transactions with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Management:
Prepare, review, and organize all necessary documents related to the escrow process, including purchase agreements, title reports, and other legal documentation.
Communication:
Act as a liaison between clients, agents, lenders, and other involved parties. Provide regular updates on the escrow status and respond promptly to inquiries.
Transaction Support:
Assist the Escrow Officer in facilitating closings by ensuring all title curative matters are resolved accurately and promptly.
Problem Resolution:
Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential issues that could delay or disrupt the escrow process. Collaborate with relevant parties to find timely solutions.
Record Keeping:
Maintain organized and compliant transaction files, ensuring that all records and communications are accurately documented in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
Property Research:
Conduct property research using County Appraisal District (CAD) databases and tax records to support due diligence and ensure transaction accuracy.
Customer Service:
Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the escrow process, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor to ensure a positive experience for all parties involved.
Qualifications:
Required:
2-3+ years of experience in escrow, title, real estate Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy
Preferred:
Experience with escrow software such as SoftPro, RamQuest, or similar platforms Knowledge of real estate documents and closing procedures
Work Environment:
In-office schedule: must be local to the Plano, TX area Collaborative, high-performance team culture Opportunity to grow
