Job Description

Texell, named one of the BEST credit unions to work for in the NATION by American Banker, is seeking an Experienced Mortgage Loan Officer! (Yes we know you already have a job - hear us out.) Let's be honest: you don't need a job. You need stability, fewer headaches, real support, and compensation that actually reflects your production. If you're an experienced MLO who's tired of chasing scraps, fixing preventable fires, or carrying the entire operation on your back - we should talk. What You'll Actually Do Originate residential purchase and refinance loans (no surprises there.) Build and maintain strong relationships with realtors, builders, doctors, CPA's, Wealth Advisors/Financial Planners…coffee shop baristas, golf cart bar servers; or any other referral partners who can introduce you to potential leads. Educate and guide borrowers with confidence, clarity, and a calm demeanor (even when the appraisal doesn't cooperate.) Manage your pipeline like the professional you are - with a team that helps, not hinders. Hit production goals that make sense and get rewarded for them.
What Makes This Different Real Support :
Processors, underwriters, and ops partners who work with you, not against you.
Marketing that works:
Not "post on social and hope," but tools and strategies that drive business. Freedom with
Structure :
Run your business your way-without chaos. Leadership that listens : If something's broken, we fix it. A culture that respects experience : Team involvement…yes. Micromanaging where you are…no. We allow you to work
Remotely :
From home, from your favorite coffee shop, from the course, or wherever you can bring in the business. NO Caps …when you might be working at a branch…or on your commission. What We're Looking For 2 years of mortgage origination experience (purchase -heavy preferred.) Proven Ability to self-source and close loans Strong knowledge of Jumbo market, relationships in the medical community, as well as conventional, FHA, & VA loan programs.
If you have:
connections in luxury real estate and are familiar with Jumbo loans, or relationships in the medical community, you could do really well! Professional reputation you're proud of. Someone who believes that caring about clients will earn you a good living. Compensation & Perks (The part you're really reading) We'll pay you a salary. (Yes, an actual salary, not a draw.) We'll pay you commission for closed production ON TOP of the salary. Opportunities for a quarterly bonus. Opportunity for a fast start bonus. Benefits and support that don't slow you down. Growth paths for producers who want more than "just another year." Our goal is to make you
LAUGH OUT LOUD SUCCESSFUL!
The Bottom Line You're probably doing fine where you are, but if you suspect you could be doing better - with fewer fires, less stress, more stability on the team and with the company, it's worth a conversation. You don't have to be unhappy to look - you just have to be curious. How can you make the best decision for yourself unless you have all the information?
