POSITION SUMMARY
Gather and analyze financial information on members to determine qualifying status for mortgage loans. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all steps in the mortgage loan process. Serve as the primary administrative contact for the Mortgage Loan Officers, managing calendars, inquiries, and follow-up tasks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Order, receive, and review all appropriate documents, including survey, appraisal, credit report updates, title work, appraisal, final inspections, hazard insurance, flood certification, flood insurance if required, and other legal documents. Ensure all hazard insurance and flood insurance meet investor requirements prior to the loan closing Review and analyze all aspects of the mortgage credit package, including but not limited to the accuracy of the file input, timely delivery of required application disclosures, title policy, assets and asset documentation, income figures, and income documentation, including personal and corporate tax returns, credit report/credit documentation, and appraisal review Assist residential loan applicants. Verifying that application data is complete, accurate, and meets established standards. Serve as the primary administrative contact for the Mortgage Loan Officers, managing calendars, inquiries, and follow-up tasks. Coordinate with processing, underwriting, closing, and external partners (e.g., realtors, title companies, appraisers) to ensure timely movement through the pipeline. Identify and escalate delays or issues that could affect closing timelines. Document mortgage loan files within the mortgage loan origination software as required Process purchases, refinances, home equity, home improvement, and interim construction loans Evaluate credit reports to determine creditworthiness based on industry standards. Prepare loan packages for underwriting review. Process approved mortgage loans. Satisfy underwriter conditions promptly Have a working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, HMDA, FHA, VA, and State-sponsored down payment and other assistance programs
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Previous mortgage loan processing experience is required. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of real estate lending practices, including federal and state regulations and mortgage compliance with respect to RESPA and TILA. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while interacting with mortgage loan originators, borrowers, and operations staff. Effective interpersonal relationships with members, management, and team members. Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
