Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Escrow Officer to join our team and ensure the seamless handling of real estate transactions. In this vital role, you will coordinate between buyers, sellers, lenders, and agents to facilitate smooth escrow processes. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex financial and legal documents, ensuring compliance with all regulations and delivering exceptional service. Duties Manage the escrow process from opening to closing, ensuring all contractual obligations are met accurately and efficiently Review and verify loan documentation, including FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines, to ensure compliance with underwriting standards and TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and mortgage servicers to facilitate loan origination and processing activities Prepare and review escrow instructions, contracts, settlement statements, and other legal documents with attention to detail Ensure timely communication with all parties involved, providing updates on transaction progress and resolving any issues that arise Maintain meticulous records of all escrow activities, including 10-key typing entries, math calculations, and transaction logs Skills Proficiency in escrow procedures, including math calculations and basic math skills necessary for accurate document review Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously under tight deadlines Demonstrated understanding of Fair Housing regulations to ensure equitable treatment of all clients Competence in using escrow software systems, 10-key typing skills, and general computer literacy for efficient workflow management Join us as an Escrow Officer to play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
