Job Overview We are a looking for Loan Officers to join a Mortgage Company for a large home builder. Serve as an in-house Loan Officer for a well-regarded, high-volume home builder, while enjoying industry leading support and fulfillment. As a Loan Officer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the loan process, ensuring they receive the best financial solutions tailored to their needs. Your expertise in financial sales and customer service will empower you to build strong relationships with clients while navigating the complexities of loan origination and processing. You'll leverage your negotiation skills and knowledge of Fair Housing regulations to provide exceptional service and support throughout the lending journey. What you'll do Assess client financial needs and recommend appropriate loan products. Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate. Conduct thorough credit analysis to evaluate borrower eligibility. Negotiate loan terms and conditions with clients and lenders to secure favorable outcomes. Stay informed about FNMA (Federal National Mortgage Association) guidelines and TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations to ensure compliance. Collaborate with underwriting teams to facilitate smooth loan approvals. Utilize financial software and accounting tools for efficient loan processing and management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage servicing practices and escrow processes. Basic qualifications Proven experience as a Loan Officer Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting procedures, and loan processing. Proficiency in using Quicken and other financial software applications. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships. Preferred qualifications Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and compliance standards. Experience with contracts related to loans and banking transactions. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately, including 10 key typing skills for data entry.
