Job Description
Are you passionate about helping people achieve their homeownership dreams? Join our credit union team as a Mortgage Loan Officer and make a meaningful impact in your community! What You Will Do Guide members through the entire mortgage process, from application to closing. Provide personalized loan options and calculations tailored to member needs. Originate, review, and process mortgage applications accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with appraisers, title companies, real estate agents, and loan processors to ensure smooth, timely closings. Ensure all mortgage activities comply with TRID, state, and federal regulations. Support consumer lending when needed. Build and maintain relationships with members, realtors, and community partners to promote mortgage services. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred. At least 3 years of mortgage loan officer experience preferred. Must qualify with NMLS. Previous consumer lending experience is a plus. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with confidential information. Why MMCCU?
