The Lending Servicing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of loan data that has been entered into our core system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review loans boarded to the system for completeness and accuracy
Compare data fields between closing documents and the core loan system
Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution with relevant business units
Maintain detailed records of quality control findings and corrections
Collaborate with other business units to uphold data standards
Support the team in maintaining compliance and operational standards
Assist management in maintaining compliance within the Bank's core processing system
Provide input relative to quality control
Ensure that all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as attorney prepared documents, procedure manuals, and general business correspondence
Ability to write business correspondence
Ability to effectively speak and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees in the organization.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government regulations, trade journals, and legal documents.
Ability to effectively respond to common inquiries from associates and internal audit groups.
Education and Experience
- Computer Skills
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Database programs
- Previous banking experience preferred
