Responsible for the documentation and tracking of Bank information to meet the requirements of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA); ensures HMDA worksheets, loan documentation and files are complete, accurate and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; will assist with procedure development within the lending area, as needed.HMDA SPECIALIST ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Assist in coordinating and supporting the bank's HMDA reporting and documentation processes Ensure HMDA data collection is accurate and complete; loan documentation is accurate and compliant, ensuring that all applicable regulations are met Assist in the development and maintenance of lending procedures and resources Assist in the review and coordinating of bank's lending denial process; ensure appropriate denials are recorded for HMDA reporting Assist in various consumer lending tracking and reporting Ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, and the Bank's policies and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act Maintain continuing education related to regulatory standardsHMDA SPECIALIST EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or financial industry experience Experience in lending and/or HMDA policy and procedures preferredHMDA SPECIALIST COMPETENCIES
