Loan Processor

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Processor to join our dynamic team in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the loan origination process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected, reviewed, and processed efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of mortgage servicing, underwriting guidelines, and compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Duties Review and verify loan applications for accuracy and completeness Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility Process loans in accordance with FNMA guidelines and TILA regulations Collaborate with loan officers to gather necessary documentation and resolve any discrepancies Prepare contracts and ensure compliance with banking standards Maintain accurate records of loan processing activities using 10 key typing skills Communicate effectively with clients, escrow agents, and other stakeholders throughout the loan process Stay updated on changes in financial services regulations and best practices Experience Proven experience in loan processing or related roles within the financial services sector Familiarity with underwriting processes and mortgage servicing practices Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements Previous experience as a loan officer is a plus Proficient in basic math skills for accurate calculations related to loans and interest rates Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail If you are passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals through effective loan processing, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
