Duties Assist escrow officers with preparing and reviewing escrow documents, contracts, and disclosures, including TILA (Truth in Lending Act) requirements. Manage the processing of loan files, ensuring all necessary paperwork complies with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and underwriting standards. Coordinate communication between lenders, title companies, real estate agents, and clients to facilitate seamless transaction flow. Conduct basic credit analysis and verify financial information to support loan processing activities. Handle data entry tasks using 10-key typing and perform basic math calculations to ensure accuracy in escrow statements and financial figures. Support loan origination processes by gathering required documentation and assisting with initial application procedures. Maintain organized records of escrow transactions, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and banking standards. Qualifications Prior experience in mortgage servicing, loan processing, or as a loan officer is highly desirable. Knowledge of FNMA guidelines, underwriting procedures, and mortgage regulations such as TILA is a plus. Familiarity with escrow procedures, fair housing laws, and banking practices enhances your suitability for this role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform basic math accurately and efficiently. Proficiency in 10-key typing and handling contracts or legal documents related to real estate transactions. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders involved in escrow processes. A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
