About the
Opportunity:
This role is an excellent opportunity for candidates to support Collateral Services' risk management activities through data analysis, field review support, loan documentation review, and operational workflow management. Primary Responsibilities 1. Support all Collateral Services functions, including field review preparation, reconciliation, and reporting. 2. Manage quarterly pricing for reviewed loans; audit results for accuracy and prepare collateral margin reports. 3. Oversee mortgage collateral delivery from member institutions; review legal documents for compliance and coordinate corrections. 4. Coordinate and reconcile blanket lien summary data files for sampling and regulatory reporting. 5. Conduct residential mortgage collateral reviews and prepare summary reports for management and member institutions. 6. Maintain department controls, databases, and operational reports. 7. Coordinate execution of legal agreements with members, Legal, and external parties. 8. Serve as the department records coordinator and primary contact for internal teams and external auditors. 9. Perform ad hoc duties as needed.
Requirement:
Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred. 2. 2+ years of experience in residential mortgage or commercial real estate lending, underwriting, servicing, or secondary market transactions. 3. Experience reviewing real estate legal documents (e.g., notes, deeds of trust, title policies, assignments, mortgage insurance). 4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to interpret large volumes of documentation. 5. Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. 6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively; maintains professionalism and judgment. 7. Willingness to travel up to 25%, including occasional overnight travel and local travel to member banks within approximately 50 miles of the contractor's home base. 8. Ability to lift, carry, and transport suitcases and equipment weighing 40+ pounds during field assignments. 9. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (primarily Excel and Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). 10.
Preferred:
Salesforce, SharePoint, Oracle, Power BI, SQL, data/reporting tools. Must‑Have Qualifications 1. Residential or Commercial underwriting 2.
