Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team in San Jose, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting the loan process by ensuring accuracy and compliance at every stage. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing team while developing your expertise in loan administration and mortgage processing.
Responsibilities:
  • Review loan applications to ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Coordinate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to gather missing information or resolve discrepancies.
  • Verify borrower information, including income, employment, and credit history, to support loan approvals.
  • Prepare and submit loan files for underwriting and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Track the progress of loans from application to closing, ensuring timely communication with all parties involved.
  • Assist in preparing closing documents and confirm that all conditions have been met prior to finalizing loans.
  • Maintain detailed records of loan files and update systems with accurate information.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from clients and team members regarding loan statuses.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance.
