Job Description
Description Senior SBA 7a Closing Officer We are seeking an experienced Senior SBA Closing Officer to manage the closing and documentation process for SBA loan transactions. This role is responsible for reviewing closing packages, preparing loan documents, coordinating with third parties, and ensuring all files are accurate, complete, and compliant with SBA requirements. Responsibilities + Collect and review all required closing documents for completeness and accuracy + Review title reports, lien searches, and other due diligence items + Ensure compliance with SBA Authorization, credit terms, and SBA guidelines + Prepare and manage closing checklists and clear outstanding conditions + Package loan files in accordance with SBA requirements + Obtain SBA approval through E-Tran and prepare SBA Authorization + Prepare loan documentation in LaserPro + Coordinate with borrowers, escrow/title, and insurance companies to facilitate closing + Ensure collateral is properly documented and liens are perfected Requirements Qualifications + 5-8+ years of SBA closing and/or loan documentation experience + Strong knowledge of SBA eligibility, guidelines, and documentation requirements + Proficiency with SBA One/E-Tran and LaserPro + Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through + Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Compensation Pay range: $36-48 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
