Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Title Insurance Closing/Settlement Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the closing process of real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will work closely with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth and efficient closings while providing exceptional customer service. Duties Conduct thorough reviews of title documents and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with FNMA guidelines. Prepare closing documents, including settlement statements, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and financial services professionals throughout the loan origination process. Manage escrow accounts and disburse funds as per contractual agreements. Utilize basic math skills for accurate calculations related to closing costs and fees. Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications related to closings. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the closing process. Demonstrate proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry and documentation. Experience Previous experience in title insurance, mortgage servicing, or banking is preferred. Familiarity with contracts, escrow procedures, and real estate transactions is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
