CEO / Operations About Us East Harbor is a private credit firm that makes secured loans against real assets: marine vessels, aircraft, real estate, and commercial vehicles. We're collateral-first. If the asset is strong, we'll fund borrowers that banks won't touch. Our portfolio includes 200+ active loans, and we close in 2-4 weeks. We're CECL-compliant and audited, but we operate without the bureaucracy of a bank. Nothing funds without a clean close, and this role is directly responsible for that. The Role You'll own deal execution from approval through funding. Every closing package, every lien, every funds flow goes through you. Our collateral ranges from yachts to aircraft to commercial real estate, so no two closings look exactly the same. You'll coordinate borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and insurance providers to get deals funded accurately and on time. What You'll Do Manage the closing process end-to-end across multiple collateral types: marine, real estate, aircraft, and commercial equipment Ensure every closing package is complete, accurate, and audit-ready before funding Perfect lien positions by recording mortgages and confirming lien status Coordinate funds flows, disbursements, broker fees, prepaid interest, and escrow figures through settlement Work with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and insurance providers to keep closings on schedule Conduct pre-close and post-close due diligence, including compliance documentation, KYC/AML deliverables, and deal file verification Identify process improvements to streamline closing workflows as deal volume scales What We're Looking For We prioritize capability over tenure. If you have sharp analytical thinking and a strong body of work, we want to hear from you regardless of years of experience. Comfortable reconciling figures, managing funds flows, and working with financials daily Working knowledge of loan documentation: promissory notes, UCC filings, title insurance, security agreements Able to manage multiple closings with competing deadlines Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or any quantitative field Preferred Experience with non-traditional collateral (marine vessels, aircraft, specialty equipment) Familiarity with KYC/AML compliance, post-close portfolio monitoring, or loan servicing platforms (LoanPro) Experience coordinating with credit committees or investment operations teams Bilingual (English/Spanish) Background in loan closing, settlement, credit operations, or lending operations. Accounting or paralegal backgrounds with direct lending exposure also work. Why This Role You're the last line of defense before capital deploys. Every funded deal passes through your hands. Marine, aircraft, real estate, commercial vehicles. Not the same loan package on repeat. Direct access to senior leadership. Small team, real ownership over the process. Clear growth path into closing team lead or operations management as the firm scales. East Harbor Financial is an equal opportunity employer.
