Data Integrity & Quality Control Specialist Valley National Bank - 3.2 West Palm Beach, FL Job Details 21 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Data integrity assurance Commercial banking expertise Microsoft Excel Compliance with loan regulations Data validation techniques Regulatory compliance High school diploma or GED Data integrity and documentation Loan servicing Productivity software Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Review and validate loan documentation and ensure commercial loan closing packages are complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements. Use checklists to verify data fields based on loan type; identify and classify errors (critical vs. non-critical) impacting accuracy or internal consistency. Document and resolve discrepancies by recording errors and routing to booking team for correction; report missing or inconsistent documentation for timely resolution. Partner with Quality Control and Booking teams to address issues and maintain alignment with procedures and standards. Update loan logs and reports accurately; transfer completed packages to Imaging for archival per established workflows. Adhere to SLAs, KPIs, and all bank policies; assist with audits and quality control reviews.
Requirements:
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of commercial lending and loan servicing. Strong attention to detail with a focus on identifying discrepancies, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining compliance with internal policies. Knowledge of bank regulatory requirements. Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. Effective communication and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize daily work assignments while working in a demanding environment is required. Ability to meet deadlines defined by Bank and regulators.
Required Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial institution specializing in commercial loan operations and documentation and/or loan closing experience.
Preferred Experience:
Completion of college level courses in business administration and/or associate's degree.
