Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented TRID Specialist to join our team and ensure compliance with the
TILA-RESPA
Integrated Disclosure (TRID) rule, which governs the disclosure process for residential mortgage transactions. In this vital role, you will facilitate accurate and timely preparation of loan disclosures, coordinate with various stakeholders, and uphold regulatory standards to promote transparency and protect consumer rights. Your expertise will help streamline mortgage processes, reduce risk, and enhance client satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail and proactive communication. Responsibilities Prepare and review TRID disclosures, including Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal regulations. Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify disclosure requirements. Monitor the entire loan process to ensure timely delivery of disclosures within mandated deadlines. Conduct thorough reviews of loan files to verify adherence to TRID guidelines and identify potential discrepancies or issues. Stay current on updates to Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations, Fair Housing laws, and other relevant compliance standards. Provide training and support to team members on TRID procedures, regulatory changes, and best practices for effective client communication. Utilize property management tools and Microsoft Office applications to document processes, generate reports, and maintain accurate records of disclosures. Requirements Proven experience working with mortgage lending processes, property management, or related social services fields. Strong knowledge of Landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, HUD regulations, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and other housing assistance initiatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with familiarity with property management tools. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations.
