Job Description

Job Title:
Loan Documentation Analyst Pay Rate:
$23.64/hr
Physical Work Location:
801 Walnut St, Des Moines, IA 50309
Shift:
Weekdays 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Tuesday/Thursday and Wednesday/Friday rotate for remote work
Anticipated Duration:
12-month contract with a possible extension based on performance. About the
Role:
This role supports key loan fulfillment processes, including document preparation, redisclosures, and settlement and refund reviews. While mortgage experience is not required, candidates who are reliable, process-driven, and eager to learn will succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage paper loan documents in an in-office setting Prepare, print, package, and ship loan documentation and correspondence Accurately update loan origination systems Support Closing Disclosure (CD) reviews and redisclosure requests Monitor and respond to requests via shared mailboxes and SharePoint queues Complete redisclosure documentation when changes are identified Perform refund and settlement reviews by: Comparing settlement statements against Closing Disclosures Ensuring all financial figures reconcile accurately before processing refunds Communicate with internal partners, including settlement agents and operations teams Maintain high levels of accuracy, organization, and productivity
Required Qualifications:
Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply Prior office experience (cubicle or structured environment preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow defined processes and work with physical documents Preferred (Not Required): Background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar Experience with analytical review (document comparison, reconciliation, etc.)
