WE ARE HIRING!
We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Loan Officer Assistant to join our Mortgage Operations team. In this role, you will support Loan Advisors throughout the loan process, assist borrowers with documentation and status updates, and help ensure loan files move efficiently toward closing. In This Role, You Will:
Collect and follow up on outstanding loan documentation and conditions Review documentation for completeness and submit conditions for underwriting Order and track appraisals, title work, employment verifications, insurance, and other third-party services Maintain accurate loan files, documentation, and status updates within the loan origination system Coordinate assumption and release of liability requests from intake through completion Provide borrowers with timely updates, documentation requirements, and next steps Other job duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 1-2 years of mortgage lending experience required Previous loan processing experience preferred Knowledge of mortgage lending, regulations, liens, and related processes Strong communication, organization, time management, and attention to detail Comfortable using computer systems to enter, access, and maintain financial information
