Join our team as Residential Lending Mortgage Processor in Manhattan! As a Residential Lending Mortgage Processor, you will work closely with our Mortgage Loan Originators and our Loan Documentation Manager; contributing to the growth of our Residential Lending department. You will also work with Realtors, investor processing centers and title companies to comply with required documentation for residential real estate first mortgage loans. Additional responsibilities include ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, verified and complies with company policy, coordinating closing documentation and appointments with title companies, and compiling and maintaining pipeline reports. An associates or undergraduate degree is preferred for this position along with one to two years of residential lending processing experience. Experience working with Encompass and Smartsheet is a plus. Other important abilities include knowledge of mortgage guidelines and regulations, professional communications skills, and the ability to prioritize your workload while managing and meeting multiple deadlines. This is a full-time position at our Westloop branch in Manhattan. We anticipate a starting salary of $40,000 to $45,000 per year based on experience. Job Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School Graduate or GED required; Associates or undergraduate degree in finance or related field preferred, but not required 1 - 2 years of experience in residential/mortgage lending, preferred Basic computer skills: experience in Encompass and Smartsheet, preferred Solid internal and external customer service Detail oriented Dependable and adaptable Displays drive and initiative Work as a team player Able to multi-task and make quick decisions Able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines Ability to work under pressure
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time Able to view a computer screen for long periods of time Must be able to speak and listen clearly both in person and on the phone Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy This job may require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently
