Title:
Loan Associate Job Summary The Loan Associate is responsible for a variety of secretarial and clerical duties including noting appointments, greeting visitors and handling telephone calls. Please note this job description is not designated to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time or without notice . Duties and Responsibilities Act as receptionist, answer routine information and direct inquiries to proper bank personnel. Process loans by using LaserPro forms as required, have forms properly signed, disburse proceeds of loan, file mortgages, liens, UCC-1's, etc., in the proper location in a timely manner, and follow up on any pending matters until the file is complete. Compile information for and prepare various special reports. Maintain supplies and various files and records. Perform general duties for one or more officers, including working exceptions, keeping track of information required on existing loans, answering telephone, routine mail and upon direction of supervisor, originate replies to correspondence. Be proficient in a variety of software programs and operate other office equipment as required. Perform all other necessary duties to assure effective workflow and effective realization of total department and bank goals.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Secretarial training Two to three years banking experience preferred
