Job Description

Job Classification:

Loan Processing Manager Work Schedule:
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through
Friday Location:
Basehor or Topeka Possible overtime as needed.
Organization:
Community National Bank was founded in 1984 by a group of individuals in Nemaha County, Kansas with diverse local ownership with decisions made on a local level.
Position mission:
This position is responsible for supporting the loan department. The loan processors support all lenders throughout all locations of the company.
Major Duties:
Process consumer, agricultural and commercial loans in accordance with all state and federal regulations as well as CNB Loan Policy and procedures. Data input of applicant information into banking software systems (FiServ, Suntel). Order titles, flood determinations, payoff quotes, credit reports, appraisals and environmental reports as needed. Review loan files for completeness prior to document preparation. Loan document preparation, itemization of closing figures coordinating with third party companies when necessary to meet all loan application and closing deadlines. Scan and organize documentation in loan software image system (Suntel) for filing/record retention compliance. Assist quality control in making corrections to booked loans and payment corrections if needed. Assist loan officer in clearing exceptions for customers with pending loans. Communicate information with customers, loan officers, and/or management. Participate in weekly meetings with loan officers/support staff to participate in the loan process, review common issues, and for training purposes. Complete special projects and other tasks as assigned. Beginning knowledge of HMDA and other banking regulations. Maintain confidentiality.

Support CNB's strong relationship culture through quality customer service and superior product knowledge Provide superior customer service by resolving problems efficiently and responding timely Identify and implement solutions to problems in general and urgent matters Actively seek to add and enhance knowledge regarding developments and current trends in the industry Seek counsel of supervisor on financial concerns or other issues as appropriate Work collaboratively with staff to maintain a team environment Flexible to accept additional assignments as requested by leadership Professionalism while representing CNB (onsite, professional and community events and via communications) Participate and attend meetings as requested Recommend policies and procedures as it relates to area of responsibility Timely responses to inquiries for information to customers, staff and vendors Answer telephone calls and provide a prompt response Follow CNB's policies and procedures Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required - associate degree or higher in business management, finance or accounting preferred. Requires a high degree of confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organizational skills, time management skills and be a self-starter Detail oriented and ability to self-audit work to ensure accuracy Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing and communication tools Strong empathy and interpersonal skills Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values Requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable to fulfill the obligations of this role Knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described are representative to those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand and sit for extended lengths of time, read computer screens, talk on the phone, unpack and move supplies up to fifty (50) pounds, reach, kneel, bend, climb and balance. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment is primarily a professional, deadline driven environment with interaction of internal team members and external customers. Noise level in the work environment can be loud.
