We are a leading multi-state title insurance firm dedicated to providing exceptional service to consumers and clients in the real estate industry. Liberty Title has been protecting the dream of homeownership since 1974. We are looking for a detail-oriented, service-minded Closing Coordinator to join our growing team. The Closing Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering a smooth, accurate, and exceptional closing experience for buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate professionals. This position is responsible for managing transactions once the property is under contract through closing, ensuring all details are handled with precision, urgency, and a high level of customer care.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a liaison between seller, buyer, real estate agents, and lender Determine escrow requirements by reviewing title reports and buyer, seller, realtor, and lender instructions. Provide updates about the purchase's progress to all relevant parties Verify taxes, assessments, water, and homeowner's association dues. Input closing statement information. Answer routine customer service questions. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously Comfort working with deadlines in a fast-paced environment Clear, confident communication skills - verbal and written A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems High level of professionalism, integrity, and follow-through 1+ years of experience in the title insurance industry or a related real estate or mortgage industry position Candidate will need to obtain Michigan Resident Producer License and become a Michigan Notary Public within 3 months of hire date
