Consumer Lending Processor Meijer Credit Union - 5.0 Grand Rapids, MI Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The Consumer Lending Processor supports Loan Officers and assists members with their loan requests, providing clerical and administrative support needed to process and close member loans. Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Maintaining loans within guidelines with authorized direction from members or manager. Performing post close reviews of loans for accuracy and completeness within set guidelines. Prepares loan servicing documents as applicable (payoffs, discharges, lien releases) Works with member and assigned lender (POD) to add missing documents. Answer member phone calls, text messages and emails. Identifies and takes action to improve the group's operating methods and procedures. Understands and complies with Credit Union's BSA/AML program as applicable to job. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Performance Measurements Review loan documents and work to resolve errors according to established department standards. Provide informed, prompt, professional and accurate service and support to all members and associates by responding to email within 24 hours, answering the telephone, and replying to messages within 24 hours. Develop, maintain, and demonstrate a working knowledge of credit union loan standards, policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal government rules and regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED is required; associate degree preferred. 6 months to 2 years of similar or related experience. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Proven ability to proactively interact with members to identify and uncover needs while supporting a strong member/customer service culture. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This position may be primarily remote or hybrid after satisfactory completion of required onsite training program and demonstrated competency in working independently. Physical Requirements This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool, as necessary.
