Job Description

Retail Loan Support Department:
Direct Retail Lending Position Type:
Full-Time, Non-Exempt Compensation Range:

Loan Operations Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
This position serves primarily internal customers; however, responsibilities also include serving external customers whenever the opportunity presents itself. This position does not involve direct day to day supervision of employees. Confidentiality of customer information cannot be overstated. It is expected that all customer information be kept in the strictest confidence. We must do whatever it takes to ensure that our relationships with the public are not jeopardized. The purpose of this position is to complete the final process of real estate loans ensuring documentation is accurate and in compliance with bank policies, and state and federal guidelines. This individual is also responsible for a variety of other duties that support all lending done in the Direct Retail Loan Department.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Capability of exercising good judgment Perform satisfactorily under pressure and consistently meet deadlines High degree of detail orientation Ability to prioritize and manage workflow in a fast-paced work environment Acquired experience with Windows-based applications and Microsoft Office products Above average aptitude for figures/ knowledge of accounting basics Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with internal and external customers
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Process real estate transactions after closing Maintenance of real estate files after closing, including, but not limited to, monitoring final title polices in conjunction with title companies and attorneys Prepare, review and respond to audit requests from secondary market Perform consumer and real estate loan check-back procedures Process In-House real estate evaluations Monitor and distribute daily mortgage rates to appropriate staff Monitor delinquent real estate taxes Process real estate force placed insurance and bankruptcy notices Complete annual escrow analysis Process and complete reports, Past Due/Non-accrual, OPP/OREO, Paid Notes Audit and Paid Notes with Active Escrow Balance OPP/OREO, and RCB Collection Agency Review and respond to Credit Disputes Prepare and submit annual investor certifications Back-up for the Loan Report Processor role Ensure backups for the position are properly and thoroughly trained Attend required staff meetings Follow security procedures Support a diverse and inclusive culture Abide by all policies, procedures, and expectations set forth in the Employee Manual or requested by management HOURS Typical office hours are 8:00am
  • 5:00pm, Monday through Friday This position is not eligible for hybrid work It is expected that work be completed, therefore additional hours may be required in order to accomplish certain tasks Timecards are required and any time over 40 hours will be paid at the rate of time-and-one-half
COMPENSATION RANGE
The compensation range for this position is: $20.00
  • $25.
00 per hour. This range reflects the base wage for this position. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience :
One-year experience in banking, preferably in the lending area, is preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIROMENT
Manual dexterity for extended periods of data input Sit for extended periods of time Lift and carry up to 15 pounds on occasion Primary work environment for this position is that of a typical office setting
