We're looking for a detail-oriented, service-driven Loan Processor. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth and accurate loan experience from closing through funding while helping members take important steps toward their financial goals. What You'll Be Doing You'll play a key role in bringing loans across the finish line while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a positive member experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing multiple consumer and mortgage loan pipelines simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and service standards. Preparing and sending loan closing packages to members. Reviewing executed loan documents for completeness and accuracy. Booking and funding loans within the Credit Union's core processing systems. Coordinating loan disbursements and ensuring proceeds are delivered to the appropriate parties. Obtaining and tracking post-closing documentation from dealers, insurance providers, attorneys, and other third parties. Reviewing loan files and documentation to ensure compliance with Credit Union policies, investor requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Processing residential mortgage applications and following up with members for required documentation. Enhancing key lending operations by coordinating critical closing, funding, documentation, and quality control activities to facilitate successful loan origination and portfolio management. Supporting cross-functional lending operations through cross-training and backup coverage. What You Bring to the Table We're looking for someone who combines strong organizational skills with a commitment to member service and operational excellence.
Qualifications include:
Experience in consumer lending, mortgage processing, loan operations, financial services, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of loan documentation, funding processes, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and follow-up skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Proficiency with lending systems, core processing platforms, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates and business partners. Commitment to delivering an exceptional member experience.
