Job Description
Job#: 3051072 Loan Fraud AnalystThis role supports the Loan Fraud & Identity Theft team and is primarily focused on reviewing pay stubs, income verification documents, and other supporting loan documentation for potential inconsistencies or fraud indicators.
Key ResponsibilitiesReview income documentation and supporting loan application materials for accuracy and authenticity.
Identify mathematical errors, inconsistencies, missing information, and potential fraud red flags.
Document findings and communicate concerns to loan officers and senior fraud specialists.
Escalate suspicious documentation for additional investigation when appropriate.
Utilize Excel and internal systems to track, review, and document case activity.
What Makes Someone SuccessfulStrong attention to detail.
Ability to clearly articulate findings to loan officers and fraud team members.
Comfortable working with multiple technologies, especially Excel.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Able to follow established processes while identifying exceptions and irregularities.
Preferred BackgroundPrevious experience in lending, consumer banking, loan processing, underwriting, or fraud investigations.
Experience reviewing financial or income-related documentation.
Banking, financial services, lending operations, or fraud analysis experience preferred.
