$26 - $36/hr DOE The Commercial / Ag Loan Processing Specialist (Loan Processor Origination III) independently prepares, reviews, and finalizes complex commercial and agricultural loan documentation. This role serves as a senior technical resource within Loan Operations and is responsible for ensuring loans are documented, booked, and funded accurately—fully aligned with approved credit terms, bank policy, and regulatory requirements. This position is designed for experienced commercial and ag loan processors who work with minimal supervision and are trusted to manage complex loan structures, exercise documentation judgment, and resolve issues proactively.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently prepare, review, and finalize complex commercial and agricultural loan documentation, including multi entity borrowers, guarantors, multiple collateral types, and non standard credit terms. Ensure all documentation is consistent with approved credit authorizations, loan policy, and regulatory requirements. Apply expert level knowledge of documentation standards, including entity documentation, signing authority, resolutions, guaranties, collateral documents, and lien perfection. Analyze loan structures to identify and resolve documentation, collateral, or lien perfection issues; escalate higher risk or policy exceptions as appropriate. Prepare, file, amend, and manage UCC filings and related collateral documentation to maintain proper lien position. Generate and customize loan documentation using document preparation software; validate system generated documents against approved terms. Independently upload, validate, and book loans in the core system, ensuring accuracy prior to funding. Partner with bankers, Loan Assistants, and internal teams to clarify loan structures and support timely, accurate closings. Serve as a technical resource by providing guidance or quality review support to Loan Assistants or less experienced processors, as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field; 3-5 years of progressive loan processing or loan documentation experience, including direct responsibility for commercial and/or agricultural loans or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience independently preparing and finalizing complex loan documentation, including multi entity borrowers, guarantor structures, collateral documentation, and UCC filings. Strong working knowledge of loan documentation software and core banking systems, including independent loan booking. Ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
