Mortgage Support Specialist General Electric Credit Union - 3.3 Cincinnati, OH Job Details 1 hour ago Qualifications MLO License High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Overview The Mortgage Support Specialist would play a critical role in the Mortgage department by preparing and issuing disclosures and processing rate lock requests and commitments for all secondary market and portfolio (in-house) mortgages.
Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare, validate and send initial disclosures within the regulatory timeframe. Monitor changed circumstances via LOS system. Prepare and send re-disclosures as needed. Evaluate fees on disclosure requests to ensure accuracy and completeness. Organize, label, and maintain received documentation in accordance with documentation standards. Handle all lock requests for retail and broker channels. Verify lock price, investor and loan level price adjustment (LLPA) on all lock requests. Re-price locked loans based on applicable changes through the loan process. Track all lock expiration dates and follow up on expiring loan locks. Communicate with Loan officers and Processors, when necessary, about disclosures and/or rate locks. Identify missing or incorrect documentation and coordinate with Loan Officers or Processors to resolve issues. Performs and assists the mortgage department in any assigned or requested projects. Complete all required GECU mortgage lending and Elevate U! training courses. Maintain the required NMLS designation
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED required Minimum of one year Mortgage processing or similar experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
