Job Description
Purpose:
The Lien Search position is responsible for conducting comprehensive lien searches on all equipment sold or traded as part of the sales process. This role ensures the accurate identification, documentation, and resolution of liens to support compliant, timely, and risk-mitigated sales transactions. Job Responsibilities/Duties Conduct thorough reviews of web-based Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings with applicable state agencies to identify all active and potential liens. Accurately prepare, process, and submit lien release documentation to lenders. Communicate professionally with lenders to request, follow up on, and obtain releases of security interests. Compile and maintain complete documentation packages for SBA and federal liens, including updates as required. Collaborate with sales staff to communicate documentation requirements and provide status updates throughout the lien resolution process. Meet established weekly productivity goals and submit detailed progress reports to the supervisor. Maintain accurate and organized records within the workflow management system. Support overall sales operations by performing additional duties as assigned. Maintain flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and be on call as business needs require.Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Professional written and verbal communication skills, particularly when interacting with lenders. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk-assessment skills.
