Job Description

Summary Assist the Loan Quality Control area with maintaining collateral associated with consumer loans, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and compliant, adhering to regulatory guidelines and policies. Help support various other loan operation/quality control functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform file maintenance in DNA involving changes in collateral information on existing loan accounts. Perfect, release or change collateral held on loans, including vehicle titles. Monitor and work on issues with collateral reports to secure the banks collateral. Enter information for new vehicle loans and monitor current loans in the Department of Transportation Titling System. (VITU) Provide payoff quotes on consumer loans. Title research with local state representative, including mobile homes. Assist with total loss claims through insurance companies. Understand and support all BSA/AML responsibilities as applicable to the position as well as consistently, accurately, and timely carry out these responsibilities in compliance with the Bank's internal policies. Help research loan questions for loan officers, frontline or customers. Works on special projects as necessary. Communication- have and encourage strong verbal and written communication skills. Assumes additional duties and responsibilities as required. Education and/or Experience Associate's degree or equivalent from a two- year college or technical school; or six months to one- year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Ability to operate a personal computer and job-related software. (Web-based systems, Word, Excel, Core Operating System DNA). Must be willing to learn new systems and not have any issues with emerging technology.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and release notes. Ability to write business correspondence, and policies using proper grammar and accurate spelling.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as balances, payments, interest, etc.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Organizational, priority setting, and decision- making skills are also required.
PHYSCIAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use hands and fingers to operate office equipment, telephones, etc. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
