This role serves as a critical support function to maintain document integrity, ensure regulatory compliance, and resolve system and workflow-related issues. The position works closely with document vendors, technology teams, and compliance partners to troubleshoot document mapping, workflow functionality, and audit findings related to disclosures.
- Configure and test loan documents and disclosures within the LOS, ensuring accurate data mapping, business rules, and compliant output before release into production.
- Review audit findings (state, internal, and compliance) related to disclosures, perform root cause analysis, and assist in implementing corrective actions and preventive controls.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to document generation, workflow failures, and data mapping discrepancies within the LOS.
- Support system updates, document changes, and regression testing activities to ensure ongoing compliance and operational accuracy.
- Maintain clear documentation of configurations, testing results, and issue resolutions; contribute to process improvements and serve as a point of support for document-related inquiries. Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in mortgage operations, document preparation, LOS administration, or mortgage technology support.
- Strong understanding of mortgage disclosures and loan documentation (TRID, RESPA, state-specific requirements).
- Experience working with Loan Origination Systems (e.g., Encompass, ICE Mortgage Technology, Calyx, or similar).
- Experience with document vendor platforms (e.g., DocMagic, Docutech, IDS, or similar) preferred.
- Proven experience in system testing, configuration, or QA/UAT environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail. Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of data mapping, business rules, and workflow configuration.
- Ability to interpret technical issues and translate them into business solutions.
- Experience working with audit findings and compliance remediation processes.
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, validations, tracking logs).
