Job Overview Full-time, in-office in Addison (next to the airport—our office overlooks the plane hangars). No remote. You must be detail-oriented and comfortable talking with clients. If you're an "email-only" processor, this won't be a good fit. We're a small, owner-operated mortgage brokerage looking for an experienced processor to help manage borrower files from application through final loan approval. You'll work directly alongside the owner/LO in a highly collaborative environment. No cold prospecting or self-sourcing. We handle a wide product mix including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, DSCR, Non-QM, HELOAN/HELOC, state bond programs and Reverse. Mastery of every product is not expected. You'll generally receive well-structured files—the owner/LO handles loan strategy and won't be throwing messy files at you to figure out yourself. Responsibilities Communicate calmly and professionally with borrowers and occasional referral partners Review applications and documentation for completeness, including income, employment, credit and assets Identify and request missing documentation for pre-approvals and active purchase/refinance files Occasionally run AUS (DU/LP/GUS) Track required disclosures and signatures to prevent closing delays Prepare and submit complete loan packages to underwriting Monitor files through processing and keep borrowers updated, primarily through Arive LOS and existing automations What You Won't Be Responsible For Structuring loan programs/files (although great ideas are welcome) Registering loans with wholesale lenders Sending initial disclosures or locking rates After-hours calls or texts Cleaning up poorly originated files Delivering potentially bad news to borrowers yourself Requirements 3+ years of mortgage processing experience required Strong working knowledge of Conventional, FHA and VA guidelines and documentation requirements General knowledge of TILA, TRID, Fair Housing and mortgage compliance Strong attention to detail and organization Comfortable communicating with borrowers by phone, text and email Proficiency with Microsoft or Google Office Arive LOS experience preferred; Encompass experience is welcome (Arive is much simpler to learn) We're looking for someone who enjoys the processing side of mortgage lending, takes pride in keeping files moving, and wants a stable, long-term role working closely with an experienced broker.

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
