About this position:
The Mortgage Monetary Specialist is primarily responsible for the posting and researching of mortgage payments and payoff funds for LMCU's Mortgage portfolio. This role also provides support to the Mortgage Servicing phone queue while adhering to investor, federal and state regulations. What you'll do: Processing mortgage payments and payoffs received in the mail to ensure reflected on mortgage accounts within a timeline that stays compliant with investor, state, and federal regulation. Answering member inquiries about their mortgage or HELOC accounts via Mortgage Servicing phone queue, while adhering to the five star service promise, demonstrating PRIDE culture and staying compliant with investor, state, and federal regulation. Performing maintenance to automated payment records, ensuring product guidelines are followed and documentation is appropriately archived. Processing payment exceptions and researching from other departments including but not limited to Loss Prevention and Item Processing. Assisting with daily mortgage servicing functions that include processing loan payments and payoffs, updating/maintaining servicing system, answering email or LiveChat requests for mortgage information. Adhere to and champion our core values of curious minds, collaborative hearts, and continuous excellence. What you'll bring: One to three years of similar or related experience. Prior experience working in the Mortgage industry is a plus. Working knowledge of various programs including, but not limited to: Symitar, Interlinq, Midanet, Mornet, Freddie Selling System, and Fannie Loan Delivery System. What you'll get:
