This role is critical to ensuring a smooth and efficient loan process from application to closing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and excels at communication with clients, loan officers, and third parties. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze borrower profiles, including credit, title, income, assets, and complex business tax returns Utilize automated underwriting systems (DU/LP) and assess findings accurately Submit complete loan files to underwriting and manage all conditions through final approval Proactively communicate loan status with borrowers, loan officers, agents, and operations staff Maintain accurate and timely updates in LOS and CRM systems Request and track outstanding conditions and documentation from all parties Order Closing Disclosures and manage timelines to ensure on-time closings Collaborate with and support the Junior Processor; provide coverage as needed Participate in daily and/or weekly team meetings (in-person or virtual) Ensure all deadlines, conditions, and compliance requirements are met Qualifications Proficiency with

DU, LP, FHA

Connection, and VA Portal Knowledge of HECM loans (preferred) Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Intermediate computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel) Experience with Encompass (preferred) Ability to manage a pipeline of 75 loans/month and close a minimum of 15 loans/month Ability to quickly learn and apply company policies and procedures Compensation & Benefits $24-$35/hour (based on experience) Per-file bonus on closed loans Additional performance-based incentives Medical insurance and 401(k) Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Loan Processor Strong knowledge of conventional (including Jumbo & Non-QM) and government loan guidelines Supervisory Responsibilities Provides indirect oversight and support to departmental team members Ensures alignment with company policies and applicable regulations
