Loan Document Specialist

We are seeking a Loan Document Specialist for a credit union in Pawtucket, RI- it is a 3-6 months assignment. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the end-to-back lifecycle of indirect consumer loan closing packages. You will ensure that loans are accurately documented, compliant, and funded efficiently to maintain high service levels for both members and dealerships.

salary:

$20 - $24 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4:30

BachelorsResponsibilities Quality Control & Data Integrity:

Audit loan packages for accuracy, ensuring all data, member information, and collateral details are correctly entered into the Loan Origination System (LOS).

Compliance & Documentation:

Verify that all required disclosures and contracts are properly executed. You must strictly adhere to BSA/AML, OFAC, and Member Identification Program (MIP) regulations.

Funding & Booking:

Manage the funding queue for both physical and electronic contracts. This includes processing teller transactions, opening new member accounts, and meeting specific turnaround time (TAT) benchmarks.

Dealer Relations:

Act as a point of contact for dealership personnel to resolve funding delays and missing documentation in a timely, professional manner.

Operational Support:

Assist the broader Indirect Lending team with general ledger disbursements and other administrative duties as assigned by management.
