Job Description

The Mortgage Loan Processor plays a vital role in supporting the mortgage department by managing and coordinating the loan process from application through closing. This position works closely with members, internal staff, and third-party partners to ensure a smooth and compliant mortgage experience. The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and verifying documentation while maintaining consistent communication with members and stakeholders throughout the loan lifecycle. This role also provides guidance to members regarding first mortgage loan products and assists them through each stage of the application and approval process. Required Qualifications Experience in mortgage lending or real estate preferred. Proficiency with LOS systems (e.g., Encompass). Strong written and verbal communication. Attention to detail with financial documents under tight deadlines. Familiarity with Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA loans. High school diploma required; associate degree in business or finance preferred. Work Environment Office-based; high-volume, fast-paced environment. Requires extended sitting and computer/phone use. Expects effective communication with team to enhance the member experience and foster a positive and healthy work environment Acts in a supportive capacity as needed to meet team and company goals
