In this vital role, you will support the loan origination process by assisting with loan documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Your expertise will help streamline loan processing, uphold mortgage servicing standards, and ensure adherence to federal and state lending regulations. Responsibilities Assist loan officers with the preparation and review of loan documentation, including credit analysis and underwriting materials Support the loan origination process by gathering necessary borrower information and verifying financial data Ensure all loan files comply with TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure) regulations and other federal housing laws such as FHA, VA, and conventional mortgage guidelines Coordinate communication between clients, lenders, underwriters, and internal teams to facilitate smooth loan processing Maintain accurate records of loan documentation, client correspondence, and compliance-related materials using Encompass or similar loan management software Monitor loan status throughout the approval process, ensuring timely submission of required documents for mortgage servicing and underwriting review Qualifications Proven experience as a Loan Officer Assistant or in a similar role within financial services or banking sectors Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes, including loan origination, processing and underwriting Familiarity with FNMA guidelines, TRID compliance, FHA/VA loans, and conventional mortgage loans Knowledge of mortgage documentation requirements and credit analysis techniques Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Encompass or comparable loan processing software is preferred Ability to interpret complex financial data accurately using basic math skills Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Deep understanding of industry regulations including TILA, Fair Housing laws, Federal Housing Administration (FHA) loans requirements, and banking regulatory compliance Join us in delivering top-tier mortgage solutions while supporting clients through every step of their homeownership journey.
