Full Job Description Description:
What You'll Do Loan Processing Duties Manage a small pipeline of up to 5 loans per month Review new loan files prior to initial disclosures to ensure completeness and accuracy Assist with file setup to prevent conditions ("cures") and improve submission quality Support overall file quality and readiness for processing and underwriting Administrative & Operational Support Monitor and respond to team inbox inquiries and help requests in a timely manner Answer basic operational and loan-related questions from team members Assist with loan locking and DPA (Down Payment Assistance) loan processing as needed Pull and distribute scheduled reports, including: Broker reports (month-end) Branch projection reports (first and mid-month) DPA reports (first and mid-month) Processor projection reports Provide support for daily operational questions, including: Running DU (Desktop Underwriter) Troubleshooting file or system issues General workflow guidance
Requirements:
What We'll Love About You Excellent customer service Effective communication skills including written and verbal Basic knowledge of lender's and investor's underwriting and program guidelines Ability to prepare state and federally required disclosures Ability to manage processing pipeline Knowledge of basic underwriting guidelines to calculate income, assess adequate asset availability, review appraisal report, read title commitment/preliminary title reports Depending on the opening, may train or may need someone with 1-2 years experience Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and data entry Ability to view and analyze information on a computer screen for extended periods Occasional standing, walking, and reaching Ability to lift and carry up to 10-15 pounds (files, documents, office materials) Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment What You'll Love About Us Great Company Culture Top Workplaces 6 years in a row (2016,'17,'18,'19,'20 & '21) Going Places.
