Description:
Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Consumer & Commercial Loan Administrative Assistant to support our lending team by preparing loan documentation, coordinating loan closings, maintaining loan files, and providing exceptional customer service. This position works closely with loan officers, customers, and third parties to ensure loans are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with bank policy and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities Assist loan officers throughout the consumer and commercial loan process from application through closing. Prepare and review loan files to ensure documentation is complete and accurate. Coordinate loan closings with customers. Book and maintain loan files, clear documentation exceptions, and assist with loan renewals and modifications. Obtain updated financial statements, tax returns, insurance, and collateral documentation for annual loan reviews. Serve as a primary contact for customers regarding loan documentation and status. Prepare administrative documents for the lending department. Maintain confidentiality while complying with Bank policy and applicable lending regulations, including BSA/AML and Fair Lending requirements. Provide general administrative support to the lending team and assist with special projects as assigned. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience Banking or financial services experience preferred. Office Administrative experience is highly desirable. Knowledge & Skills Strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
