Role Description The Commercial Real Estate Loan Processor at Freedom Bank is a full-time, on-site role based in Alamo, TX. This role is responsible for processing commercial real estate loan applications from initial intake through closing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing loan documentation, coordinating with loan officers, customers, and third parties, ordering and tracking appraisals and title work, and preparing files for underwriting and closing. The Loan Processor will maintain detailed records in loan processing systems, follow up on outstanding items, and communicate status updates clearly and professionally. This position contributes directly to delivering timely, high-quality service to commercial clients and supporting the growth of the bank's lending portfolio. Qualifications Candidates should possess experience with loan processing and commercial real estate lending workflows. Candidates should possess skills in handling loan documents, including reviewing for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Candidates should possess knowledge of mortgage lending principles and relevant banking regulations. Candidates should possess strong communication and customer service skills for working with clients, loan officers, and external partners. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines effectively. Proficiency with banking or loan origination systems and standard office software (e.g., Word, Excel). Prior experience in commercial real estate or banking operations preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or degree in finance, business, or a related field is beneficial.
