Mortgage Compliance Clerk II:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Mortgage Compliance Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our mortgage compliance processes adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mortgage compliance, excellent analytical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in improving the company while working on team and individual projects.

Responsibilities:
Independently prepare regulatory reports and documentation. Collaborate with various departments to implement and maintain compliance. Develop procedures and training manuals for compliance processes. Respond and research high level inquiries from internal teams and regulatory authorities regarding compliance matters. Conduct regular reviews of mortgage files to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Keep abreast of changes in mortgage laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant teams.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 4-6 years proven experience in mortgage compliance, processing and/or underwriting within the financial industry. Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to
RESPA, TILA, TRID, NMLS
Call Report, HMDA, and Fair Lending. Filing regulatory reports including the NMLS Call Report, HMDA, and Fair Lending. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, QuestSoft, NContracts, and other relevant mortgage software.
