Job Overview:
As a Mortgage Closing Consultant, you'll guide clients through the final, most important stretch of their homebuying journey — serving as a trusted advisor at one of life's biggest milestones. You'll work closely with loan consultants, underwriters, real estate agents, and insurance advisors to deliver a smooth, accurate, and efficient closing experience. We'll set you up for success with a comprehensive training program, sponsored NMLS licensing, and a personalized career progression plan — with past Mortgage Closing Consultants going on to roles in sales, operations, team lead, and market management.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze loan applications and supporting documents to ensure they meet underwriting standards Guide clients confidently through the final stages of the mortgage process Collaborate with loan consultants, underwriters, real estate agents, and insurance advisors to ensure accurate and timely closings Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, answering questions and easing concerns during a high-stakes process Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in documentation before closing
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines A collaborative, team-first mindset Willingness to obtain an NMLS license (sponsored by CapCenter)
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $80,000. Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related business considerations, such as relevant qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and skills. Where applicable, this position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and/or discretionary bonus opportunities.
