Job Description

Overview:
As an Indirect Lending Loan Processor, you will be responsible for the processing of assigned loans against credit criteria and credit union policy. This includes, but is not limited to, processing dealer loans/contracts and providing administrative support to our Indirect Lending team by auditing the accuracy of loan applications. The Indirect Lending Loan Processor will provide exceptional member experiences to our members through ensuring the timely, accurate funding of loans.
Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently process member financial transactions Performs audits on dealer loan applications to ensure accuracy Opens new membership accounts Work in partnership with teams across the organization to deliver projects that improve visibility into the member experience Provide exceptional member experiences Provide operational oversight, support, and resolve escalated requests Ensure timely, accurate funding on loans Prepare, assembles, and maintain loan documents files and promptly submits files to be imaged Answer telephone inquiries and respond to dealership inquiries Perform other duties as assigned Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in a financial institution; loan processing preferred Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities Ability to work the hours of Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM Ability to work effectively on-site in our Herndon, VA headquarters and equally effectively remotely Demonstrated experience working in a high production area Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to collaborate Accuracy and detail-orientation Effective oral and written communication skills Effective problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills Compliance with policies and regulations Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and/or with members
Preferred:
Experience with MeridianLink and DNA Knowledge of auto loan laws, rules, and regulations

Base compensation for this role ranges from $19.15 - $32.53 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.
