Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Senior Home Equity Loan Processor serves as a subject matter expert and key operational resource within the Home Equity lending team. This role oversees the full loan processing cycle from application through closing, while supporting team performance through mentoring, escalation management, and pipeline oversight. The Senior Processor collaborates closely with loan officers, underwriters, appraisers, closers, and members to ensure timely, high-quality loan processing and an exceptional member experience.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Performs all the core functions of a Home Equity Loan Processor, including document collection, verification, and communication with borrowers and third parties. Mentors and guides processing staff, supporting the development of their knowledge and skills. Assists with pipeline management. Shares best practices and offers assistance to internal and external business partners throughout the process. Partners with management and internal teams to improve processes, resolve issues, and promote operational efficiency. Supports team members by managing escalated calls and member messages professionally and promptly. Responds to Medallia member experience surveys in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in business, finance, a related field, or equivalent experience, required. Minimum five years of experience in consumer or mortgage lending required, with at least three years in home equity or mortgage loan processing specifically. Targeted Pay Range
