The Loan Funding Specialist is responsible accurately uploading and funding loans to the system of record. Responsible for disbursing funds along with reviewing and reconciling General Ledgers, paying fees/invoices to vendors, producing cashier's checks or wire transfers as applicable. Actively communicating with the Team Lead & Lending team. As a Loan Funding Specialist, you will: Communicate with the Lending team for correct disbursements to general ledgers associated with new loans. Complete transactions to advance loan proceeds, general Ledger transfers, appraisal, and vendor payments along with creation of cashier checks. Assist the Loan Funding Team Lead with reconciliation of department general ledgers and review of reporting on a regular basis. Clear and maintain Teller system for daily/monthly batching of transactions. Maintain a fluid workflow and timeline of assigned tasks to meet requests of the Lending team. Assist in the creation and completion of current policies, procedures, and resources for the department in daily functions and tasks to system of record. Work with title company and Lending team to ensure accurate final documents. Review final loan approval conditions. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of positions held within the financial banking industry. PC, phone system, general office equipment Proficient in using the suite of Microsoft Office systems to include Teams, Excel, Word. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Strong math and account reconciliation skills Must be a team player who is enjoys a positive and fluid work environment. Willingness and desire for continuous learning to maintain and enhance Professional expertise in field.
