Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

2-3 years of banking/loan processing preferred This role includes, but is not limited to the following duties: Duties Review and verify loan documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness, including credit reports, income verification, and property appraisals. Prepare and process loan files in accordance with FNMA (Fannie Mae), FHA (Federal Housing Administration), VA (Veterans Affairs), and conventional mortgage guidelines. Ensure all loans meet TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure) compliance standards and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations including Fair Housing laws. Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and clients through internal communication channels to gather necessary information and clarify documentation. Maintain detailed records of all loan documentation, escrow details, contracts, and compliance checks while ensuring timely processing of each file. Communicate effectively with clients regarding loan status updates, required documentation, and regulatory disclosures to enhance customer service experience. Experience Proven experience in loan origination or mortgage processing within a financial services or banking environment. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, FHA loans, VA loans, conventional mortgages, and related federal housing programs. Excellent skills in credit analysis, math (including basic math and 10-key typing), and document review to ensure compliance with lending standards. Ability to communicate clearly with clients, underwriters, and internal teams while managing multiple files efficiently.
