Job Description

The Loan Imaging Clerk reports directly to the Loan Operations Manager and is responsible for accurately imaging consumer loan files and related documents into the Bank's core electronic file storage system. The position scans, indexes, organizes, and verifies documents so electronic loan files are complete, legible, correctly identified, secure, and readily retrievable. This is a part-time support position. Success requires sustained attention to detail, consistent use of established imaging procedures, sound judgment when handling confidential customer information, and timely communication of missing, unclear, duplicate, or misfiled documents. The position does not approve loans, make credit decisions, or independently determine document retention requirements.
EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior banking, loan operations, records management, document imaging, data entry, or general office experience preferred but not required. Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn the Bank's imaging, file storage, and loan-related systems. Ability to read and accurately match names, account numbers, dates, document types, and other identifying information. Ability to maintain concentration and accuracy while performing repetitive scanning, indexing, and quality-control tasks. Ability to operate scanners, computers, copiers, and other equipment used in a typical office environment. Ability to handle paper files and sit or stand for periods necessary to perform imaging responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation. Successful completion of required bank training, including information security, privacy, records retention, and other training applicable to the position.
