- Phoenix Gilbert is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Night Auditor to join our opening team.
This important role combines front desk guest service with nightly accounting responsibilities to ensure the hotel's daily operations are accurately completed and prepared for the next business day. Position Summary The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the front desk during overnight hours while completing the hotel's daily financial and operational audit processes. This position serves as the primary hotel representative overnight and plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities Provide exceptional guest service during overnight hours Welcome guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and assist with guest requests Complete the nightly audit process and ensure all daily transactions are accurately posted Balance room revenue, cash receipts, credit card transactions, and other financial records Generate and distribute daily operational and financial reports Reconcile guest accounts and resolve billing discrepancies Monitor hotel security and ensure guest safety throughout the overnight shift Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist guests professionally Communicate overnight activities and important information to hotel management and department leaders Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas Follow Hilton brand standards, company policies, and audit procedures Assist with pre-opening setup, systems training, and operational preparations Qualifications Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred Hilton PEP experience preferred but not required Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable working overnight shifts Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel systems Professional appearance and demeanor High School Diploma or equivalent required Preferred Qualifications Previous hotel night audit experience Experience balancing cash and financial reports Hospitality or customer service background Prior experience with hotel property management systems What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Hilton Team Member Travel Program Paid training Growth and advancement opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity to be part of a brand-new hotel opening Schedule Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available Overnight Shift (Typically 11:00 PM
